Sree Edanad Devi Temple in Edanad is one of the most ancient temples in Kerala, which is situated around the suburbs of the cultural town Pala in Kottayam District, Kerala State.Its origin is in antiquity; The prime deities in this sacred temple are Sree Bhadrakali and Sree Durga Devi. The other deities are 'Yekshi Amma and Brahma Rakshas. In addition to the above deities, on the south and north to the temple, deities of Durga and Ayyappa are situated. Annual temple festival commence every year on the month of December and continues for 41 days.

Shri Dharma Sastha

The concept of Dharma Sastha represents the unison of Vaishnava and Saiva beliefs.His ardent devotees observe strict mental and physical austerities for forty eight days which culminate in a pilgrimage to His shrine on Šabari mala in the State of Kerala in India to unburden their karmas.
