Legend has it this is the spot where Lord Krishna was most recently seen. At this spot there is a lobby in which Krishna is seen leaning back on the branch of a tree with a foot dangling. A seeker who shot a harmful bolt at his toe tip misidentifying it to be the snout of a bird, as if bowing before the Lord asking his exoneration. It is here that Lord Krishna made a guise to climb to his Paramapadam. As this is the spot where he might have been ‘last seen', this spot is called 'Mukti Dwaraka'.
