Saiva Tamil Sangam
Arulmiku Shiva Temple
A gathering of Saiva dignitaries, priests and Tamil National activists from Zurich was held in the middle of Avani in 1994 at the Volkshaus hall. In this meeting it was decided to form Saiva Tamil Sangam with the following objectives in mind.
A. _ Guiding the Saivite people of Zurich to follow their Saiva system of worship and to maintain the Saiva Tamil culture.
Ah _ To make necessary arrangements for the children to learn and follow Tamil language, Saivism.
E. _ Helping native people and Tamil people living in Switzerland on the basis of People's Service is Mahesan Service.
E. Explaining the Saivaism system of worship and our culture to the people of this country.
U. The management of the Sangha to be started to fulfill this objective is to be elected by the people of Switzerland.
Commencement: Tiruvalluvar year 2025, 10th day of Avanithi (26.08.1994) Friday.
