Devotee at Punchamukhi Hanuman temple
The current temple structure was built about 1500 years ago. The temple was spread over 2,609 square feet. Later, land grabbers encroached on half of this land. The district court ordered that the encroached land be returned to the temple in 2006. Despite the order, many encroachers continued to occupy the temple area. collected from Hindu community and from the Muttahida Qaumi Movement Several Hindu deity idols were excavated from the temple site in 2019 as part of the reconstruction operation.
